About the speaker：
Jiaquan Yao is a Professor of Finance at Jinan University. He received Ph.D. degree in Finance from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research interests include financial technology, digital economy, unstructured big data econometrics and natural language processing, and his papers have been published in Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management World (In Chinese), Journal of Management Sciences in China (In Chinese), as well as the top computer science conferences WWW and KDD. He serves as an associate editor of the International Journal of Finance Economics (ABS 3). The student thesis under his supervision was awarded the Third National Outstanding Master's Degree Thesis in Finance.
