About the speaker:

Jingrui (Victoria) Li is an Assistant Professor of FinTech at the School of Business, Stevens Institute of Technology, and an Affiliate of the CRAFT FinTech Center. She is also a Visiting Scholar in Finance at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Dr. Li’s research lies at the intersection of FinTech, asset pricing, and market microstructure, with a particular focus on cryptocurrencies, derivatives, artificial intelligence, and machine learning applications in finance. Her work has been published in leading journals such as Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking & Finance, Quantitative Finance, Financial Review, and Journal of Futures Markets, and has received multiple recognitions, including a Wiley Top Cited Article Award and an FMA Best Paper Award semifinalist distinction. She is an active referee for a broad range of finance, economics, and FinTech journals and ranks among the top 10% of authors on SSRN by downloads. Dr. Li is a dedicated educator who has received repeated Vice Provost Teaching Excellence Commendations at Stevens. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from West Virginia University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
