About the speaker：
Mengqiao Du is an Assistant Professor at National University of Singapore. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Mannheim in Germany and was a visiting scholar at both the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Miami during her doctoral studies. Her research centers on capital markets, financial analysts, and labor markets, with a special focus on gender-related issues. Her work has been published in leading journals, including the Journal of Accounting and Economics, the Review of Finance, and the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization.
