About the speaker

Xuesong Huang is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Lingnan College, Sun Yat-sen University. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Rutgers University in 2021. His primary research interests lie in information economics (mechanism and information design) and financial economics (financial crises and fintech). His research has been published in journals such as Theoretical Economics and Games and Economic Behavior. He received the 2021 Research Award on Information Economics from the China Information Economics Society. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for journals including the American Economic Review, Theoretical Economics, Games and Economic Behavior, and Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.
