About the speaker：
Ran Guo is an Assistant Professor at the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance (SAIF), Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Prior to this role, he served as a Lecturer at the Rotterdam School of Management and an Assistant Professor at the Stockholm Business School. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the Lancaster University Management School. His research primarily focuses on Corporate Finance, Corporate Governance, Political Economics, and Industrial Organization. His research has been published in the Review of Financial Studies and accepted at leading international academic conferences, including the American Finance Association (AFA), the Financial Intermediation Research Society (FIRS), and the European Finance Association (EFA).
