About the speaker：
Zhuo Zhong is an Associate Professor of Finance at the University of Melbourne. He joined the university in 2014 after earning his PhD from Cornell University. His research interests encompass asset pricing, financial innovation, ETF, DeFi, and market microstructure. His work has been published in leading finance journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies. He has been invited to present at numerous prestigious conferences, such as the American Finance Association annual meeting, the Western Finance Association annual meeting, and the NBER Market Microstructure meeting. His work has received significant recognition, including the best paper award at the 2017 Northern Finance Association Meeting. He actively engages with industry partners and has presented his research at the Plato Partnership’s Mi3 conference. He has also received an industry partnership grant from Platypus Asset Management Company.
