About the speaker

Chong Huang is an Associate Professor of Finance at the Paul Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine. His research interests span financial markets, corporate finance, and financial crises. Prior to joining UC Irvine, he received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. His work has been published in leading finance journals such as the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Finance, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, as well as top economics journals such as the Journal of Labor Economics and the Journal of Economic Theory.
