About the speaker

Dr. Qinxi Wu is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Hankamer Scholl of Business, Baylor University. She joined Baylor in 2017 after receiving her Ph.D. in Finance from Georgia State University. Her research focuses on empirical corporate finance, corporate governance, Fintech, and corporate innovation. Wu has published in Review of Financial Studies and Review of Corporate Finance Studies. Her research papers have been presented in multiple high-quality conferences, including AFA, FMA, MFA, AAA annual meeting, AAA managerial accounting section, RFS FinTech Conference at Cornel University New York campus, Columbia University RFS FinTech Workshop, and so on. She was also recognized as an “AAA managerial accounting Outstanding Reviewer” and the “Reviewer of the Year” at Dayton Summer Finance Workshop.
